Tokyo Rising
this looks interesting, it’s a documentary about Tokyo’s creative after 3/11, so i’m going to sit and watch this.
A gorgeous informative short documentary about 3/11 in Japan debuted via VBS.TV and Palladium Boots featuring Pharrell exploring the country and visiting artists and having them share their thoughts, feelings and creative work.
“Tokyo faces a new reality after the tragedy of 3/11. While persistent challenges still lay ahead, the city’s creative class is hell-bent on making sure that their hometown thrives. Innovative and resilient, they are defining the future of Tokyo on their own terms. We put our boots on and went exploring.”
TRUTH
I feel as though I should reblog this…

an old mix I did of more chilled dubstep.
might start on a new one.
Moving away from the mainstream / heavier dubstep and into much calmer, and deeper dubstep.

Finally got around to watching this.
mixed feelings about it, generally toward the fact people who buy in to the shit it’s portraying will dismiss it as stupid and totally over exaggerated.
It’s not that far from the truth, and the over exaggerated theme will probably end up a guideline if it carries on.
i’m glad it doesn’t end on a good note and he sells out, it’s got a slightly gritty realism.
i wish i could be bothered to write.
i have a lot to say, but i can’t be arsed saying it.
